"When the day breaks, will you catch my feelings one day?"
ZelVil is my twst yumeship between my twstoc/sona Zel and Vil Schoenheit. Click the pictures for each one's perspective on the relationship, and the hearts for how they got together (top), their dynamic (middle), and some notes (bottom).
Zel
When transferred into Pomefiore, she was initially scared of Vil and kept a distance from her housewarden. This didn't go unnoticed by Vil, but she didn't seem to be offended by it.
Zel was in love with Vil from the beginning, but the idea of having feelings for someone like Vil while she technically wasn't even alive scared her. During book 5 when she was forced to spend a lot of time around Vil she initially tried to keep conversations short before realising it might look like she just hated Vil. She made a conscious effort to be less tense around her and eventually she felt truly comfortable around her. By the end of book 5 they were good friends.From the moment they met, she had admired Vil. She grew to love not only her physical beauty but deeply respect her mindset as well. Her favourite thing about Vil is her smile.
Vil
Vil took notice of the fact that Zel seemed to not want to be around her, but decided to give her space to adjust. She appointed her as the manager for the SDC team in book 5 both because she took note of Zel's dedication, and to be able to talk with her.
They got closer over the span of the SDC training camp as they realized how similar they were, bonding over shared interests and traits. Vil thought Zel had the potential to be just as beautiful as her if she simply took care of herself more, and made sure to take time out of rehearsals to check on her. At the end of book 5, Zel helped Vil recover as a form of repayment for all her help.
Origin
They realized their feelings for each other during book 5 and the aftermath, and so didn't get together until after book 6. Vil considered confessing when she kissed Zel on the cheek as a thank you, but decided it'd be improper to tell her in front of her dorm members.
While I don't have an exact time story-wise for their confession, it wasn't until after Vil returned to her normal appearance after jumping into the underworld. Zel was assisting her in the clubroom, where Zel happened to mention that she was jealous of Vil's beauty. They had a long conversation about how they each perceived beauty, with Vil admitting she always thought Zel's beauty could rival her own. This encouraged Zel to at last tell Vil how she felt, having her feelings reciprocated.
Dynamic
Zel shows her love for Vil through giving her gifts, and through words of affirmation. She doesn't tend to initiate PDA, but doesn't mind it if Vil chooses to.
Vil shows her love also through words of affirmation, but also through physical touch. This ranges from her occasionally touching Zel's face, to her doing full self-care routines for Zel. While they do go out together a lot, a lot of their time together is spent quietly watching something, or maybe doing some self-care with each other. In general, they don't mind sitting in silence and just enjoying the other's presence. They also enjoy going to watch films or musicals together a lot, especially if it's something Vil has starred in. Zel always makes sure she's there for any events that Vil is a part of.
